DR. ARNOLD RUGG - Veterinarian/Owner
 Dr. Arnold Rugg has been practicing veterinary medicine for 35 years. After graduating from New York University with a BA in Classical Civilization, he attended the University of Bologna Veterinary College in Bologna, Italy. Dr. Rugg completed his ECFVG internship at Iowa State University. He practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Long Island and Rhode Island before founding Kingston Animal Hospital, PC in 1980.
Dr. Rugg is past president of the Hudson Valley Veterinary Medical Society. He is an affiliate member of the American Animal Hospital Association and the American Veterinary Society, as well as the New York State Veterinary Medical Society. In addition to being the director of the Kingston Animal Hospital, Dr. Rugg maintains his interest in small animal medicine and surgery through practice and continuing education. He has been active in founding and supporting the Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley in Kingston. Dr. Rugg and his wife Elaine have three grown children and are proud grandparents. He also has a German Shepherd named "Yogi"; you will see him around the office. He is spoiled and treated as a family member by him and his family. He expects his patients to be treated with the quality of care and affection he gives his own pet.
DR. BETH ALDEN - Veterinarian
 Dr. Alden is a graduate of Virginia Tech; she received a BS in Biology and a BS in Animal Science. She received her DVM in 1990 from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. In addition to Working part time at Kingston Animal Hospital, Dr. Alden is an Full Professor at UCCC at Ulster County Community College and directs their veterinary technology program. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Past President of the Junior League. Dr. Alden is a native of Hurley, NY. She and her daughter Taylor currently live there with their four cats (Cookie, Gilbert, Jaq and Gus-Gus) their golden retriever, Lacey and a toy poodle named Zoey.
DR. EDWARD DECORT, DVM - Veterinarian
 Dr. Ed Decort has been a Veterinarian at Kingston Animal Hospital since April of 2008. He previously worked at Hudson Valley Animal Hospital and The Vet at the Barn, both located in Rockland County, NY. Dr. Decort has been a licensed Veterinarian in the state of New York since 2005, receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Ross University Veterinarian School in St. Kitts, West Indies in 2005. Dr. Decort completed his final clinical year of study in Columbia, Missouri at The University of Missouri, School of Veterinary Medicine from 2003-2004. He also has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology, with a minor in Marine Biology from Long Island University, South Hampton. Dr. Decort currently resides in Kingston, New York with his wife Jessie. They have three dogs (Moses, Brindie, Daisy) and two cats (L.B. and Bella), and recently welcomed an amazing addition to the family with the birth of their daughter, Adelaide Rose, born Sept. 4, 2009.
